Last week, my friend (fellow Yasmin Ahmad fan) and I went to watch Muallaf, the second Yasmin film that was released posthumously. After being dealt with news of Yasmin Ahmad’s death, I was hoping that her contributions to the country were significant enough to warrant the re-screening of her works. The following weekend, there was a tribute shown on TV3 which featured the airing of “Mukhsin” (which sadly, I couldn’t catch due to being out on that night).
